I would like you to meet Captain Winterborn, you and him have something in common. He was discovered recently a brain cancer, I'm working on it right now to remove it. I will sent to you the procedure and also to your doctor. In your case, I would like to be there.=^= " I appreciate your help Captain, all we've tried here since I've caught that thing is proved to be ineffective." Vladek explained. =^= I know, and I'm nearly finished with phase one of the procedure. It's the same I used on myself many years ago. Anyway, I'm sending you the details right now. I will see you in the meeting and if you want we can talk about this after.=^= " Sure Captain and Doctor Mackenzie will be there too so you could have a word with her and see what she'll think about the procedures." Vladek stated =^= Good then... Lowell out! =^= (Starbase Geneva, CO's Ready Room - CO Captain Vladek Rofellian - 0900) The conversation with Captain Yanno, the Commanding Officer of the Warp-tugs had been quite interesting, she had accepted directly Vladek's invitation to the afternoon's meeting where she will explain the plan for the move of the station. Vladek stood up and left his Office, Main Ops was swarming around like an anthill, Vladek could feel that the preparative had already begun. The turbolift's doors sliced opened and Vladek stepped in " Deck 16, Main Medical " he ordered (Starbase Geneva, Sickbay Alpha - CO Captain Vladek Rofellian - 0910) Vladek entered in the room and went in direction of the CMO's Office, he poked his head at the door " Good morning Lt., can I disturb you for a moment ? " (Reply Mackenzie) " I'm coming to have news about our Brikkar, how is he going ? " Vladek asked (Reply Mackenzie) " It's already a relief, can I talk to him for a moment, I won't disturb him too much." Vladek said (Reply Mackenzie) " Thank you Doc, and I swore not more than five minutes." he replied in smiling Vladek left the CMO's office and looked around, he saw immediately where the Brikkar was, it wasn't difficult, in approaching the biobed he had the impression that the massive Ensign was going to fall down on the floor at any moment as the bed looked so tight. As he approached Tagon looked in his direction " Good morning Mr Tagon, how are you feeling ? " he asked (Reply Tagon) " In other circumstances, you'll have been promoted and decorated for your bravoes action." Vladek stated (Reply Tagon) The Brikkar seemed a little concerned by his future " I don't have much time Ensign, I've got a proposition for you. As you know several Security Officers have already decided to leave us and it's only the beginning. On the Beta Quadrant, we will stationed in an unexplored sector and the security of the station will be my primary goal." (Reply Tagon) But Vladek didn't let him continued " Let me finish Tagon, the Security Department is already understaffed, we haven't got a Chief of Security and I'm not yet sure that Ensign Balok will stay with us. I can't afford to loose another good officer seeing that I don't know where we'll receive new officers so here is my proposition, you can stay in the Security Department and I'm offering you the place of Constable, I know that it has already been made in other stations." (Reply Tagon) " I don't care about what the others will say, I'm the one who is running this station and the best placed to evaluate our needs. Take your time, you don't have to give me your answer now. I hope to see you at the meeting this afternoon. Our Doctor has assured me that you would be on your feet soon." There was still trace pain in his chest. He was really getting tired of this pain thing. Life was so much easier when his thick hide kept him from feeling anything at all. The problem was, he couldn't quite remember where he was, or how he got there. The first rule of waking up was to check your extremities. He seemed to whole, but he looked anyway. Three fingers and toes, correct. Two legs, two arms, one ..., yep everything was there. Then the memory of the trial came back to him, and the of the end of the trial. He remembered Pitt shooting at the Admiral, and he dove in front of the shot. Whatever Pitt used, it wasn't a standard phaser, that would not have hurt him that much, even at a high setting. The sound he made brought medical attention. Dr. Mackenzie came over with her tricorder. She gave him a strange look. "Doctor," he said cordially. (reply Mackenzie) "I believe I will live," Tagon said. "My thanks to your expert work." Then he watched as the captain came into sickbay. The doctor left him, giving him a pat on the shoulder. He couldn't help but smile as she walked away. It was becoming more of the gate of a pregnant woman. The two talked for a moment and then Rofellian came in to see him. " Good morning Mr Tagon, how are you feeling ? " he asked Tagon nodded at the captain, "According to the doctor, I will live. Is the Admiral alright?" Rofellian nodded, " In other circumstances, you'll have been promoted and decorated for your brave action." "Yes sir," Tagon continued, "but circumstances are not different. May I ask what the final verdict from the trial was." " I don't have much time Ensign," he said, not directly answering the question. It could not have been good. "I've got a proposition for you. As you know several Security Officers have already decided to leave us and it's only the beginning. On the Beta Quadrant, we will stationed in an unexplored sector and the security of the station will be my primary goal." Tagon was well aware of the appalling shortage of security personnel, and them losing a security chief would only make things worse. At last discussion Balok had not decided on his own course of action. "I take it then," Tagon started, 'that the trial did not go ..." Rofellian interupted him. "Let me finish Tagon, the Security Department is already understaffed, we haven't got a Chief of Security and I'm not yet sure that Ensign Balok will stay with us. I can't afford to loose another good officer, seeing that I don't know where we'll receive new officers so here is my proposition, you can stay in the Security Department and I'm offering you the place of Constable, I know that it has already been made in other stations." Tagon cocked his head to one side. He would no longer be a Starfleet officer, but then again, it might make his job of enforcing the laws on the station a little easier. "So I take it that I have been relieved of my duties as a starfleet officer. What do the other captains have to say about this, and Admiral LaDona?" " I don't care about what the others will say, I'm the one who is running this station and the best placed to evaluate our needs. Take your time, you don't have to give me your answer now. I hope to see you at the meeting this afternoon. Our Doctor has assured me that you would be on your feet soon." Vladek stated "I do not require time," Taogn said immediately. "I accept your proposal." Rofellian smiled, and nodded. then he turned and left. Tagon lay back in his bed, feeling much better, until a twinge of pain ran through his chest. Still, it didn't seem so bad. He still had purpose. Jonathan Tybrin - 0922) Jon had saw Vladek enter Sickbay before him, so, he decided to lay low to see if he could hear what the captain was up to. Jon watched as the captain walked up to Tagon where the doctor had been talking to him. Jon moved to where he could hear but be out of sight to them. He also knew the verdict and it had not been what he wanted but he would live with it and as he listened, it actually worked to Tagon's benefit which also fit right in to what he wanted to talk to Tagon about. Jon stayed out of sight till Vladek left then he walked up to Tagon, "Well, Constable, I am glad that things are working out for you." Jon said to him feeling that he should somehow appologize for what Pitt and Blackford tried to put him through with his unwilling help. "I want to say that I was only trying to do my job as sector JAG. If I had the information that was brought up, I would have done things differently. With what I had to work with, I still think I did the right thing and as security officer I believe that you would agree." (reply Tagon) "Be that as it may, Let me get to what I have come to discuss with you." Jon said trying to get past what had been accomplished or not accomplished. "What Vladek has done falls right into what I was going to ask. Even though Blackford allegedly done what we think he has done, he still has the right to a trial just like you did. I want you, as Constable and knowledgeable of starfleet security regs as you are, to help me to bring him to trial." (reply Tagon) "I know that and yes seeing what happened in the courtroom, it is going to be hard, but, all that is still circumstantial." Jon replied trying to get Tagon on his side. (reply Tagon) "No, as far as I have heard, they have not caught him yet." Jon replied. Al least he knew that he had something to do, when he got out of sickbay. He was just about to close his eyes when he heard another set of footsteps approach him. "Well, Constable, I am glad that things are working out for you. I want to say that I was only trying to do my job as sector JAG. If I had the information that was brought up, I would have done things differently. With what I had to work with, I still think I did the right thing and as security officer I believe that you would agree." "Indeed,Lt," Tagon said as he sat up in the bed again. The joints of the bed groaned precariously and he shifted his weight. "I do not hold you personally responsible. You were, as you say, doing your job." The trial was over, no use holding grudges or pointing blame. what happened, happened. It was time to move on. Of course, if the results had been different, then his attitude might have been a little different. "Be that as it may, Let me get to what I have come to discuss with you. What Vladek has done falls right into what I was going to ask. Even though Blackford allegedly done what we think he has done, he still has the right to a trial just like you did. I want you, as Constable and knowledgeable of starfleet security regs as you are, to help me to bring him to trial." Tagon smiled. Forever the voice of law and order, Tybrin had said what Tagon would have expected him to say. "As I have heard, there's not much alleging. He killed a man in front of several witnesses, including yourself. You may have a little trouble getting him a trial in the current situation, as he has presented himself to be a traitor." "I know that and yes seeing what happened in the courtroom, it is going to be hard, but, all that is still circumstantial." Jon replied trying to get Tagon on his side. "I understand what you're saying, Lt.," Tagon stated. "Is there any word on his where abouts?" "No, as far as I have heard, they have not caught him yet." Jon replied. "Then I suppose I have my first assignment as Constabel," Tagon announced. "I will find the Commodore and bring him to justice. Barring an unforseen circumstances, he will have his day in court." She dismissed her informant and headed back to her bed as she knew that Captain Lowell would be calling a meeting soon to inform the delegates. When she had gotten up, she started ordering her people in new things that needed to be done before the meeting that was to be done. There were things to be left about and things to be moved around, things to be deleted and things to be entered before the investigation was started. She also had things to look up on the Captain that might be of some use to her later. Olga knew that Captain Lowell was going to be a tough customer, she was smart, smarter than the Tahlmari family had a right to have. She knew that Lowell was now on the list to be eliminated as much as the entire Tahlmari family. Only time would tell on whether there were others to add or not. The rest of the morning she spent in retracing her steps and making sure that no one could find anything that would tie connections to her. She also had her people connect with the right people to send word of Erebou's death knowing the party that would come about. She worked on her mask of concern about the death so no one would be able to see just how much joy she got out of it. Just about the time she was about to take her afternoon nap she was told by her aid that a message had come in for her. She moved over to the connection in her room and pulled up the message. She knew what it was even before she read it and was gratified that she had anticipated correctly once again. It was a message from an Ensign Capps, one of the Captain's underlings telling everyone of the meeting at 1300. Olga aggreed with Captain Lowell, she would not stoop so low as to send a message about the death of a worm to such important delegates either. She called in her antourage in to help her get dressed for the meeting and when she was ready she left for it. She had made sure that she was dressed as if she had no knowledge of the death as it should be. She would be the perfect mourner at the meeting. He hadn't really been looking forward to this meeting. From what he understood from Alex, the Ambasador had not thought to favorably of his father, he Tahl intended to find out why. Usually, people who didn't really get to know him, thought he was the greatest thing since the discovery of anti-neutinos. Still, even with this common thread, he was certain that this meeting was going to be quite interesting. After all, the Ambassador wouldn't want Tahl to leave on some deserted asteroid, waiting for a ride to come and get her. That thought warmed Tahl up a bit as he hit the door chime. Ulga's aid heard the door chime and she walked over to see who it was as she opened the door. "Hello may I help you ..." she asked the person standing there. Tahl nodded at the woman in front of him. "I am Lt. Commander Tahlmari," Tahlstood up to his full height, which was half a head taller thatn the aid. "I am here to see the Ambassador. Could you please inform here of my presence?" Knowing that the ambassador would not really want to see a Tahlmari, "I am sorry Lt., the ambassador is indisposed to visitors right now." she replied adding the insult to his rank. "I will tell her you came by." She started to close the door and head back in. Tahl eyed the aid very carefully. He could tell she was trying to insult him, but this one wasn't worth her time. "You do that little one," Tahl replied in an equallyinsulting familiar tone, "and also tell her that my next stop is with the Oatian delegate. Perhaps they will be more interested in proper hospitality, and so incur certain... favors, from the federation. I will just have to conduct my murder investigation, with Ambassador Ulga's name involved, in a more public setting. Good day to you." Tahl turned to leave. "Uh, wait a minute sir, I believe I saw her way you in." the aid knew what he said was true and Ulga would kill her if she let him leave now. "Come in sir, I will inform her." she said as she escorted him to the waiting area. As Tahlmari sat down she left to go inform her boss. Tahl nodded at her and smiled. "I would appreciate that." He entered the room and the door closed quietly behind him. Tahl was always amazed at the luxury of the Ambassodorial suites. He wondered why anyone would ever need such extravagance. But he had read Romanov'sreport of finding the quarters, so he did recognize the need for them. As the aid entered the ambassador's room Ulga looked up, "Mistress, there is a Lt. Commander Tahlmari here to see you. I tried to dissuade him from bothering you but he said that he would have to conduct a murder investigation with you in public so I let him in." "The nerve of the Bastard son of the Tahlmari clan to insult me so, but, that is to be expected from them. Very well I will see him in a minute." Ulga said as she started rising. "Tell him I will be most glad to see him, that I will be away from my mourning of the death of his father in a moment." The aid returned to Tahlmari and informed him of what her Mistress had told her to tell him. "Would you like some refreshments while you wait?" Tahl smiled at the thought of Ulga's "mourning" the loss of his father. it probably had something to do with dancing naked around a glass of alcohol, laughing and sining songs of joy. He declined on the refreshment and sat on a very comfortable chair, awaiting the grand enterance of Ambassador Ulga. Ulga doned her dark mourning robes before heading out to talk with the outcast Tahlmari. As she entered the room her face was the mask of mourning as she walked up to him. "Commander I was devistated to hear the passing of your father. True we were at ends with one another but I never wished him harm." Tahl stood up to greet the ambassador. She looked quite "mournful" with her dark robes and sorrowful face. It seemed too respectful. He smiled as he greeted her. "Ambassador," he gave her a slight bow, "I'm certain you are as upset as I about my fathers death. Devestated might not be the correct descriptor. It is actually these "ends" that I am here to talk with about." "I did not know that you were in on your fathers political asperations." she replied as she sat down on one of the rooms softest chairs. "Indeed, I am not," Tahl admitted. "However, I am interested in why anyone would kill him. I mean, he was one of the most respected men. what reason would anyone have to dislike him enough to kill him. I understand that you and he were ... not on the best of terms by the end of your negotiations with the Oatians. The records here were quite vague. I was hoping to get some first hand information." "I really dont know either young Tahlmari, but, I did hear some talk about some type of betrayal on his part" Olga replied. Tahl thought about this for a moment. His father was capable of many things, most of which in the name of vanity . But if there was one thig that he had trouble believing was that he was capable of taht kind of betrayal. "Do you have any idea what the betrayl was about?" Olga knew what the betrayal was but should she tell this bastard son of a bastard father. "Why not find out about the negotiations and why we had to accept the treaty and that will tell you how your father betrayed us." She said with a slight hint of hatred in her voice. This was what Tahl was looing for. He looked at the ambassador with a consipratorial glance. "Ambassador, it is no secret that there was little love lost between my father and I. And if I had been in the same sector, I might have been as good a suspect as any. In fact, many think that I showed great restraint from killing him. So believe me when I tell you that I understand the depth of betrayal, and what my father was capable of. " "However," Tahl continued, "his death occured in a federation shtarship and so I am obligated to find his murderer. What I do about this knowledge is totally up to me. But I do guarantee, that I will find the culprit. Who knows, I may even thank him." She knew that Tahlmari would never thank the culprit as he so eloguently put it. Even though he was cast away by his father, she knew the Tahlmari line and that was never in them no matter what. "Young Tahlmari, you are your fathers son. You and I both know that even that he threw you away as a young man, you are still a Tahlmari, so, dont sit here and insult me thus." Olga reprimanded him, "I hated your father for causing us to have to agree to the treaty but I did not have anything to do with your fathers death. You are fishing to see what I know and if I had anything to do with it. I will tell you and be honest with it, I do not mourn you father as a politician but a man." Tahl sat still for a moment. He gave the ambassador a little more of an approving look. Perhaps this woman, annoying as she may be, was telling the truth. "Very well Ambassador," Tahl said finally. "No more deception. Perhaps you are correct in that I want this murderer for my own purposes. If I have insulted you, I apologize. That was not my intention. However, the fact remains that I will find the responsible party and bring them to justice." He rose to leave, and then turned back to Ulga. "One more question. How did my father force you to agree to the treaty with the Oations?" "What he has done, yes it has forced our hand in the matter" she replied as she got up, "oh and as to the who might have a reason also to kill him, look to your own kind." she told him with a hint of a smile. The Ambassador turned her back on Tahl and left the room. Obviously the interview was over, for both of them. That was the strangest comment of all. "Look to your own kind." What did that mean? But it was obvious thatTahl was going to get nothing from the ambassador at this time. He headed for the Oatian delegation. He was able to watch the progress that the Cochrane doctors were doing and had confidence they would not be able to help. The agent that he was able to inject Erebou with was fast acting and virtually undetectable. Even Erebou had not understood just how instrumental Grod had been in his eventual death. The doctors made sure that few people had access to Erebou on the Cochrane, but, Grod was able to ensure that he was close in case there was something he had to know. He had even overheard the conversation that Erebou had with his outcast son. What he heard ensured that Erebou had not known about Grod, but, he did know something and that was disturbing. Erebou had given the young Tahlmari a hint as to what had happened. Grod wondered just how long it would take the young Tahlmari to figure just how close it will come to him. Grod, as he would be expected, had been visibly shaken by the death of Erebou. Several of the officers aboard ship and the ones on the Cochrane had asked him what he might possibly know. He had shown them the proper attitude while questioned but had not been able add anything. Grod, very secretively, had also been seeing Erebou's daughter, Druleana, but, no one had any idea about it. He had also a small flirtatious act going on with Sidress, the younger daughter. Grod, every now and then, teased Druleana about Sidress, but, the always made up after a bit. Druleana had no idea just how instrumental she had been in the death of her father. Grod knew that Druleana was going crazy not seeing him during her fathers ordeal, but, he just could not chance it. Grod had secretly left a note to where only Druleana would find it asking her to meet him. He had found a place on the Cochrane where it was not monitored, which, would suit him just right for thier meeting. During the meeting he might be able to find out just what they knew of Erebou's death in case he had missed anything. Now it was just a waiting game to see if she came alone to the meeting. She was going to need his help; not wanting to throw him off guard Kara cleared his throat to announce her presence. “Ensign, thank you very much for your assistance today,” Kara stated. Calvin looked up at who was talking to him. When he finally realized it was the person who saved the ship and everybody's life on the ship today, he stood up. "Your welcome Ensign", then Calvin noticed the extra pip on Kara's collar, "I am sorry Lt. Kara, you are welcome but thank you for your fast thinking, and congratulations with your promotion." Come in!" It was the Counsellor who step inside, part in thought and of questions. "What happen?" "Sabotage in engineering. A body was found using or at lest holding a tool that shouldn't be used inside. Medical is trying to identify him." "So we came close!" She sat on a chair. "Yes... very close. I'm preparing a set of protocoles in case of this happening again. The repairs will tke 10 hrs of which we will not have warp power. I have put all the engineers available for the repairs." "I felt the tension of the crew. I think you should reassure them." Alexandra who was thinking look at her. "Yes, it's a good idea." She punch a couple of keys on her desk control. "You arrived at the right time... I would like your opinion, I would like to go see Tahl's mother and sisters, how are they?" "I think that Tahl's mother might be ready, but she is confused on how to do things... how to patch up her relationship with her son? My guess is that Erebou Tahlmari exiled his son without her consent and she had to follow." "That is the one part I never understood. Being him, I would have sent Tahl in a school outside Zackdorn, on earth for example, but I wouldn't have cut him off his family... it's simply crual. I have discovered that in his family 3 suffered from the maroni syndrome... They are all dead now and all of them has been ostrasize by there family." "You are angry!" "Of course I am. This event hurt Tahl, he has nightmares about it. I would hope that this get together even under this dark cloud will bring something good for him and forget the past once and for all." "How is he?" "For now he is fine, he is leaning on me like I lean on him when Drake came back into my life and all the bagages kicking me in the behind." Rose smiled. "Good! Take one step at a time... he must morn also." "I know... so you think it's a good idea for me to go see Tahl's mother?" "Yes, but be gentle and calm. You have to give her time, maybe focus on the investigation, reassure about that." "I know, I would like you to be available to them." "I am, don't worry but my first duty is to you and the crew. By the way... Good luck!" Rose got up and left the ready room, leaving Alexandra with her thoughts. She had to get ready for anything. After a couple of minutes, she got up and reajusted her uniform and walk out of the ready room. Everything was quiet on the bridge now. (USS Cochrane - Bridge - 1245) "Ensign Capps... How is everything going?" (Reply from Capps) "It's to be expected and you're welcome. I'm leaving to go see Karonyla Tahlmari, I want to be inform if anything changes." (Reply from Capps) "Good!" Alexandra left the bridge via the turbolift and made her way toward the vip quarters. (USS Cochrane - Deck 8, VIP Quarters - 1252) Alexandra stop in front of the door, took a deep breath has she saluted the security officer in faction. "Nothing to report!" "Nothing Sir!" "Excellent." Alexandra push the door shime. "Madame Tahlmari, it's Captain Lowell, can I talk to you, it's important?" (Reply from Karonyla, anyone) (Posted by Laurence Durand) Stardate:2406.07.02 Mission: Opportunities for Enganement/ For Our Sins Day 6 Stardate 2406.07.06 (USS Cochrane- Deep in the Cochrane - Druleana Tahlmari & Close Advisor Grod - 1232) Druleana Tahlmari had managed tofollow the directions on the note. She had found it inside her diary. There was only one person who could have put it there. Her body trembled at the thought of Grod. She could still feel him from the last time they were together, and her body responded. The place where he put his hand on her breast was still warm. But that had been days ago. She had managed to catch glimpses of him on the outskirts of the action, but they were noever able to make contact. It was driving her mad. She was certain her father would never have appreciated their affair, so it had been kept secret. He would have thought that it would have been imprudent of her to be with his advisor. She didn't care. The man knew how to make her feel loved. He made her feel special, which is more than she could say about any of the other men in her life. Her father was not the sort of person to try and make anyone feel "special", and her brother, who walked out on the family ten years agon. Abandoning her to the roll of successor to their father. A roll that she was most ilsuited for. She wasn't sure which was the worst offender. But Grod, oh Grod, he knew just what to say, and just what to do. So she followed his instruction to meet him. As she turned a corner she saw him standing there, looking at her. She fought the urge to smile, but the warmth flowed through her body, and she was certain she was blushing. Slowly she walked towards him. As she got closer her pace quicken. Finally, they were within reach of each other. Druleana threw her hands around Grod and locked her mouth onto his. The kiss lasted an eternity until Druleana had to come up for air. Then as they seperated she hit him in the stomach. "How could you make me wait for so long?" Grod smiled inwardly to himself, to have her, a wonderfully beautiful woman, and to have the pleasure to kill such a worm as her father. He smiled as he saw her blush at the sight of him knowing the reflections she was having. They did have wonderful times together, but, she was a Tahlmari and they had to eventually go, then again, he thought to himself. "I had to stay away as not to bring undue suspicion on myself with our affair. I wanted to come to you and comfort you during your mourning but could not." He responded as they pulled apart. "And how is that pretty sister of yours?" He asked knowing that would bring a reaction also. Druleana scowled at him. Openly, she disapproved of the flirting he did with her sister. But inwardly it gave her a feeling of superiority, knowing that he really wanted herself. Sid was just a child after all. "So you'd rather be with the child than me," she pouted, and pushed him away. "Fine then, go to her and get your pleasure from her." Grod got just what he thought she would do, so, he pulled her back into his embrace. "You know I just use her to toy with you to get you jealous. I need only you as you fulfill me at all times." He told her as he bent down to kiss her cheek. Druleana turned her back so his lips met the back of her head. Her eyes closed as she felt him near, and she smiled now that he couldn't see her face. "No, you like her more than you love me. You think she's young and pretty. You want her don't you?" Grod watched as she turned so he kissed her neck as he chuckled at what she said knowing she was playing the hurt lover now. Oh how he wish that they would let him do with her as he wished, but, the time was not yet. "You know I love only you Druleana and as you said she is just a pretty child." Druleana truned around quickly. "Do you really," she said excited, "do you really love me?" "Why of course I love you" Grod replied trying not to choke on it, "Have you thought so ill of me that I would not?" "Oh no, lover," she said coyly, "I just wanted tohear you say it again." She reattached herself to Grod and her hand slipped down, exploring his body. "Oh Grod, I need you." Grod started responding to her knowing that where they were would be safe long enough for them to have some fun. He slowly started kissing her and moving them next to a wall. He slowly lifted the hem of her dress moving his hand inside to massage her while moving her under clothes down. Soon they dropped to her feet and she stepped one foot out so he lifted her up. With her eyes clothes, Druleana began to abandon herself to Grod's ministrations. Her body reacted to his touch, and she slowly began to move her body against his. Her hands moved as if they had a mind of their own, managing to remove the clothes from Grod's waist down. She gave a slight gasp as her hand found what it was looking for. Then she opened her eyes, consumed with desire, she wanted to see his face as he made love to her. It was all she could do to not cry out in pleasure. He enjoyed the feel of her soft skin on his as thier passion grew and as he felt her begining to get a bit vocal he covered her mouth with his. Their bodies entwined as they abandoned themsleves to their lust. Sweat beaded on Druleana's face as she allowed Grod to ravish her body. Their pace grew until they both reached their final crescendo. Slowly their breathing returned to normal and they began to put themselves back together. "See love how much I missed you?" Druleana laughed. "Yes, sweet love, I noticed." She leaned against his body as they sat on the floor, backs against the wall. As their breathing returned to normal he decided to change the subject. "Love how is your mother taking the death of Erebou?" Druleana did not want to return to the topic, but she knew that she couldn't escape it. "She is being... strong. But my so called brother is not making it easy for her." "Oh and how is that love?" Grod now might be able to use this animosity to his advantage, "Does he have any leads as to who is responsible or does he even care?" Druleana shook her head. "Who can tell with that one. But he seems to be fishing for suspects. He is asking for lists of everyone involved in the negotiations." This was not good news unless she had not given his name, "And did you give my name?" "I'm not certain who was on my mother's list," she replied, not liking the sudden change in Grod's state of mind, but I'm sure it was. You have been one of my father's closest advisors for such a long time." Grod noticed her change to his asking, "I don't mind, just wanted to know if I should just go to him and present myself as I was your father's advisor." Grod then added, "I think as his closes Advisor, I should go ahead and present myself." Druleana nodded, "That would probably be a good idea. You might be able to help him narrow down who is or is not a suspect." "Yes that would probably help him a lot." Grod agreed then put a face as if he was in thought, "Druleana, love, now that your father is not here to continue with the negotiations who is going to take his spot?" "I suppose that will fall to me,as I am my father's succesor," she replied, a little surprised. She hadn't really thought about that. "I thought as much as your father talked about it a few times and he wanted me to assist you if it every came down to you having to take over." Grod explained, "Would you like my help?" "Yes," she cried, and then calmed herself again. "I mean that would be ideal. Between use know everything my father did aboutr these negotiations. Besides, then we can work together even closer than before." She snuggled up to him closer, feeling a slight tingle between her legs again. "Yes we could but we have to keep it proffessional in public not to give anyone any idea of impropriaty." Grod explained as he pulled her closer to him. "I would love to bring it out into the open but how would your mother react? What if I ask for your hand in marriage, would you mother agree?" Druleana's eyes widened with excitement. "Do you mean that? Really? Of course right now is not the best time to discuss this, but...really? Oh I do love you so." She leaned in to Grod and gave him a series of short kisses, each one more passionate than the next. As hse began to kiss down his neck she sighed, "Oh Grod, I would do anything for you. Make love to me again." Grod knew she walked right into his plan and granted what she wanted as he also enjoyed the love sessions they had. "I do mean it Druleana, I do want to make you mine in all ways but yes probably not the right time to ask your mother. I think you should broach the subject with your mother first." He said in between kisses they gave each other. "Oh yes,"Druleana moaned, abandoning the topic, "but later, much later." She rolled Grod on top of her. "Right now I have something else on my mind." The visit from her estranged son was more disturbing than she had thought it would be. She had trouble focusing on keeping her feelings seperate fromthe issues at hand. But now, she was able to analyze her feelings. Why had she been so angry with Yil. He had only done what he had been asked, ten years ago. Perhaps she had hoped that he would have had the courage to stand up to her husband. But that wasn't it either. No, she had to accept that she, also, had wronged him. She treated him no better than servant. No, worse than that. Her anger had been misguided. She was not angry at Yil, but at herself. Suddenly the door chime interupted her contemplation. "Madame Tahlmari, it's Captain Lowell, can I talk to you, it's important?" "I am in no mood for guests, Captain," she replied. Captain Yanno nodded, and stood. The Bolian put her hands behind her back, and nodded to the crew. "I've read up and studied this Subspace phenomena, in fact we have had some subspace specialists transferred the crews of our four ships for the duration. The plan we came up with is somewhat counter-intuitive, at least for us haulers." She pushed a button on the table, which brought up a cross-section of her personal Fleet Tug, the Reliable. "As you may, or may not know, Fleet Tugs are meant to pull full size capital ships at warp. We have multiple high-frequency emitters which allow us to do just that." The Captain pushed the button again, and brought up a small image of the station, with four tugs around it. "The plan is, quite simply, to hold you together." She moved to the image, and looked at the people surrounding the table. "We are not going to be pulling you, the river makes that unnecessary, only getting you out again will require our power." She took a breath, and continued. "For the two week trip, rather, we are going to be playing tug-of-war. Depending on the tug, and location, a certain number of our tractor emitters will be reprogrammed to become repulsors, as needed. The idea being, that we will lend the station tremendous structural support by aiming the emitters to certain key parts of the Stations structure. Not to pull you, or push you, but to lend strength and rigidity to the space-frame. For example," she continued, "My ship will be covering the top-most Z axis. We will be lending ridged support to decks one through twenty, by attaching a tractor beam here, and here.." she pointed to five different places, "And pointing a repulsor beam here at the base of the umbrella, to prevent the frame from folding up." She looked over, "More or less, we are going to make sure the station doesn't rip itself apart by providing hard-core support where it is needed most, so as not to overload your own Structural Integrity fields." She smiled, grimly, "And if it becomes absolutely necessary, we can also perform power transfers to the station to help bolster the SIF Fields." She half bowed, "We are here to serve, that's our job. Though I don't think I've ever heard of four tugs doing a maneuver anything like this before." (reply: any, if desired) "Thank you Captain." The Fleet Tug CO nodded, and once again took her place. The Mithrandir is giving my engineers some problems. The ships computer core isn't responding to the upgrades, but I'm confident we'll find a solution in time. I'm headed there within the hour to continue work with one of our computer scientists." " Good and concerning the station, what are your current concerns ? I've heard that you've perhaps found a way to increase the structural integrity. We managed to shore up the weak areas with the internal force field generators while repairs were made. I think we'll be completely done with repairs in about 12 hours." Ensign Matrix had been working around the clock for almost three days, taking breaks for food and short rests before continuing to supervise the repairs. Everyone was keeping him and his crew busy. "Well, what can I do for you?" "It's more of an offer to you. First, I'd like to offer my condolenses. Your father was well respected, even on the Brikar homeworld." "Thank you," Tahl replied, looking down at his feet. "I also wanted to offer my assistance in finding your father's murderer," he offered. Tahl smiled and looked up at the big Brikar. "Thank you for the offer Constable, but I fear you have your hands full right now, yourself," he said looking at the huge hands. "Even though they are very large hands." Tagon nodded. "Even still, if you need my services, you need only ask." Tahl nodded, " I appreciate the offer and I'll let you know." Tagon nodded back and removed himself from his path. Then he turned and made his way back to his new office. Tahlmari was right, he did have a lot of work to do. Jonathan Tybrin, 1655) Jon had been sitting there in the main conference room listening to all that had been said. He had been released by Captain Rofellian that morning after the investigation revealed that he had nothing to do with the plot to kill Admiral LoDona. Jon had returned to his office before the meeting to start packing things up for the move, but, had sat down to think of things that had gone past. He realized that he would be one of the very few JAG officers that would be heading to the Beta Quadrant with Admiral LoDona. He admitted to himself that once they settled in the new quadrant he would have to send messages to each JAG to set up a new command with Admiral LoDona as the base he hoped. Time had flew by when the computer announced that it was time he left for the meeting where he just listened and remained silent alone in his own thoughts. " Lt. Tybrin, I know you've been quite busy in the past few days but how is staff situation in your department ? " Vladek had asked him. "We are up to speed sir and ready for the move." Jon answered automatically then added, "if there is anything I can do to help, just let me know." (reply Vladek, any at meeting) (posted by Frank)
